Jared Ingersoll was born October 24,1749 in New Haven, Connecticut.
He died on October 31,1822 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
He was at first on the side wanting a revision of the Articles of Confederantion, but eventually he changed to the side for planning a New Federal Government.
He then signed the Constitution for Pennsylvania.
He went to every meeting in the Convention, but he rarely took place in the debates.
He was the Attorney General for Pennsylania, twice.
He was offered the position of Chief Judge of the Federal Court, but he declined.
